BIO

My life has been consumed with all forms of dance.
I trained extensively in classical ballet and contemporary dance in the UK.
Since migrating to Australia I have merged this lived knowledge into my varied
arts practice.

More recently I have been inspired to incorporate my embodiment of dance into my research, films and photography. I am fascinated by the genre of long time exposure photography and how the viewer is taken on a visual journey of discovery through dance movement. I am not interested in capturing the pure accuracy of the movement but the actual moment of motion. The process is haptic – one never knows what imagery will occur.
